Prague is the biggest tourist attraction of our region. But it certainly is not the only one. Here we list a number of other places you will find near the camp, which you certainly should not miss out on.
* Karlstejn castle: Home of Czech kings. The castle lies on the Berounka river, less than 15 km west of the camp. Because it is close and there is not much traffic, its ideal for a bicycle trip.
* Krivoklat castle: Just over 25 km to the west of the Camp you find another architectural gem. The castle offers a permanent exhibition of historical musical instruments, gothic art, picture gallery and display of torture instruments.
* Konepruske cave: The biggest cave network in the CR. It is situated around 10 km to the south-west of Karlstejn. On a 2 km viewing tour you can admire not only unique stalactite shapes, but also exhibits of human development, found in the cave.
* Big and small America: Deserted quarries, mostly flooded. A place with limpid water, reminiscent of a western.
* Nizbor glass works: The smaller glass works, Ruckl and sons, manufactures famous Czech crystal. From Monday to Friday there are excursions within the factory.
